About the Vizsla
A Hungarian pointer and retriever with a short golden-rust coat, prized for centuries by the Magyar nobility. Nicknamed the Velcro dog because it likes to stay close to its people. The breed nearly vanished after the Second World War and was rebuilt from a small number of dogs. It is a natural pointer and retriever on land and in water.
