About the Shiba Inu
The most popular companion dog in Japan. An ancient breed dating back to 300 BC. Nearly went extinct after WWII due to food shortages and distemper. The doge meme (much wow, very amaze) features a Shiba Inu named Kabosu. Known for the Shiba scream — a high-pitched yodel they make when excited or unhappy. They are meticulous self-cleaners, almost cat-like in their grooming habits.
