About the French Bulldog
The most popular breed in the US as of 2022, dethroning the Labrador. Originated in England as a miniature bulldog, then refined in France by lace workers. Their bat-like ears are their most distinctive feature. Cannot swim due to their heavy heads and short legs. Prone to breathing issues due to their flat faces (brachycephalic). Surprisingly good apartment dogs despite their stocky build.
