About the Poodle
The second smartest dog breed (after Border Collies). Originally bred as water retrievers in Germany, not France. Their iconic haircut started as a practical way to keep joints warm in cold water while reducing drag. Come in three sizes: Toy, Miniature, and Standard. Hypoallergenic coat makes them popular with allergy sufferers. Excel in dog sports including agility and obedience.
