About the Yorkshire Terrier
Developed in 19th century Yorkshire to catch rats in textile mills. A ratter turned lapdog. Their hair is similar to human hair (fine and straight) rather than typical dog fur. A Yorkie named Smoky saved soldiers in WWII by dragging communication wires through a drainage culvert. Despite weighing only 3-4 kg, they think they are much bigger than they are.
