Pug

About the Pug

An ancient breed kept by Chinese emperors for centuries before arriving in Europe with Dutch traders. Legend says a pug saved William the Silent of Orange by warning him of assassins, making it a favorite of the Dutch royal house. Its motto is multum in parvo, a lot in a little. The flat face makes it prone to breathing problems and heat intolerance. Wrinkles need regular cleaning.
