Pomeranian

About the Pomeranian

Descended from large sled dogs of the Arctic. Queen Victoria fell in love with the breed in 1888 and began breeding smaller varieties, starting the trend for tiny Poms. Two Poms were among the three dogs that survived the Titanic. Mozart dedicated an aria to his Pom. Their double coat gives them their signature fluffy appearance. They think they are big dogs and will challenge much larger breeds.
