About the Old English Sheepdog
A shaggy drover dog developed in western England to drive cattle and sheep to market. Drovers dogs were often docked to show they were working dogs, which gave rise to the nickname Bobtail. Its abundant gray and white coat needs extensive grooming. In Britain an Old English Sheepdog has been the long-running mascot of Dulux paint. Playful and clownish, with a distinctive rolling gait.
