About the Cardigan Welsh Corgi
The older of the two corgi breeds, brought to Cardiganshire in Wales by Celtic peoples and used to drive cattle by nipping at their heels. Unlike the Pembroke it has a long, fox-like tail, larger rounded ears, and a heavier bone structure. It also comes in more colors, including blue merle. Intelligent and adaptable, it makes a devoted companion.
