About the Belgian Malinois
One of four Belgian shepherd varieties, named after the city of Malines. Its intensity, speed, and drive have made it the preferred dog of many police and military units worldwide. A Malinois named Cairo took part in the 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden, and another named Conan was honored after a 2019 special forces raid. Not suited to casual owners; it needs a demanding job.
